Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

The TradeEvidence platform ("the Service") is operated by Adam Ravald ("we", "us", or "the Seller"). By accessing or using the Service, you enter into a binding agreement with Adam Ravald and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all of these terms, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

The TradeEvidence platform is a research and backtesting platform for traders. It allows users to upload historical market data, describe trading strategies in plain language, and run AI-powered research and statistical backtests. The Service does not connect to any broker, exchange, or live market data feed, and does not execute real trades.

3. Not Financial Advice

Nothing on this platform constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. All outputs — including backtest results, AI-generated strategies, and statistical findings — are for informational and research purposes only. You are solely responsible for any trading or investment decisions you make.

4. User Accounts

You may sign up using email and password or via Google OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.

4a. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you must not:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive purpose
• Send spam or distribute malware, or attempt to probe, scan, or breach security
• Infringe the intellectual property or other rights of any party
• Scrape, reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the Service or its outputs
• Circumvent technical limitations or interfere with the Service's operation

4b. Intellectual Property

The Seller retains all ownership of the Service and its intellectual property, including the software, documentation, branding, and design. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within your selected plan. No rights are granted except as expressly stated in these Terms.

5. Data You Upload

You retain ownership of any data, strategies, or content you upload. By uploading data, you grant us a limited license to process it solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We do not sell or share your uploaded data with third parties.

6. Subscription and Billing

Pro subscriptions are billed monthly at the rate shown on our Pricing page. You may cancel at any time, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are handled by Paddle and are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Refunds are handled in accordance with our Refund Policy.

6a. Merchant of Record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the TradeEvidence platform and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. This includes but is not limited to losses from trading decisions made based on backtest results or AI outputs.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
